Less is more, more is less

From my understanding, less is more or more is something like the quality over the quantity. When we creating a design, sometimes a simple design which has a deep meaning can make a good design which is ‘less is more’.

If a designer creates a design that is very beautiful and perfect but it doesn’t have any meaning but just a random art, that doesn’t make it a good design because that is called ‘more is less’
